Try it yourself · Pam learns

Where: the same Claude Code folder as Level 2. When: after every run, for the first few weeks.

  1. Read what she produced and write down each problem in one line.
  2. For each problem, decide the fix: a rule in CLAUDE.md, a script that does the math, or a check that stops a bad result.
  3. Ask Claude to make the change, then run the same task again.
  4. Compare the two runs. Keep the change only if the problem is gone.

What to ask Claude

After a run:

Here is what was wrong in this week's report: [one line per problem].
For each one, propose the smallest fix: a rule in CLAUDE.md, a script, or a check.
Don't change anything yet. Show me the list first.

After you approve the list:

Make those changes. Then run the report again and tell me what changed compared to the last run.

Rules worth adding early

  • "Never calculate a number yourself. Use the scripts."
  • "Every insight cites the file and the row it comes from."
  • "When two sources disagree, say so."
  • "Check the result against the format before you save it."
